My early morning training partner.

The Woman cave is  the basement that I have turned into a workout/ study room which is kind of "my space". The name came about in joking around with my husband after we found out we were having a girl. This made three girls and he would be the lone male in the house. He then told me he was moving into the garage, lol. The idea of the woman cave came about on a whim. It just happened to be a name I thought up and because we are renovating I wrote it on the door to the basement and it just stuck. Since then it has officially become the woman cave. The man cave is out in the garage:)!
Ashlyn is my 17 month old daughter who joins me for my early morning workouts when she gets up before I finish which is more often than not. I even occasionally have to break for a diaper change which can certainly add a new twist to a workout and a lingering aroma for sure. Working out is an essential part of my day as it sets me right mentally and physically to tackle what ever arises that day. I love working out with Ashlyn, just having her around puts a smile on my face. The intensity of my workouts may not be all that when she is in the woman cave with me but I wouldn't have it any other way.
